We woke up to a delicious breakfast that had multiple options of delicious foreign foods. Then we drove to fruit market to get snacks for the bike ride that we were soon to embark on. When we did it was fun and we stopped at a primary school and saw multiple children with the biggest smiles you have ever seen. When we left the school we rode some more until we stopped at a tea shop with very expensive tea. Then we left and went to a coffee shop and sat for a while.
When we got back on the bus we went to the KaiPing hotel that had a perfect view of the river and city. Then after we settled in we left to a restaurant with the best tasting squid I ever had (even though it was the only squid I ever tasted).
We left for another school where we were treated like famous people. The school gave us a talent show where many different people taught us how to play instruments and to speak Chinese. After we left we came to a wonderful closing in Mr. Schedler's room where we reflected on the day.
Jakiepoo, your writing is so thoughtful and detailed. You are obviously a great scholar, observer, and foreign-food-enjoyer. Bless you!
