Hong Kong Recap

After landing in Hong Kong about 6:00 am it was non stop action. The team toured the Wong Si Tin Taoist Temple, took a walk at the top of Victoria Peak for great views of the city and then went on a walking tour of the Wan Chai Market area. After an awesome lunch it was off for some shopping at Stanley Market, followed by a tour of Hong Kong International School, one of our sister Lutheran schools.

We arrived at the ferry terminal just in time to buy a few snacks for dinner, board the 6:00pm ferry and we were off to Zhongshan for some sleep. Truth be told, most are sleeping on the bus as we drive to the hotel. When was the last time your 8th grader was sleeping at 8:40pm? It will be a short night - up at 5:00am for breakfast and then a 2 1/2 bus ride to Chickan where we will worship with our friend Pastor Peter.
