We spent our last day in Southern China by visiting the homes of the students that the St. Paul's & Zion students sponsor with their chapel offerings. We certainly have some intense and heartwarming stories to share. After another wonderful meal we boarded our bus and headed to Shenzhen. We were able to tour the school of our new friends from BCIS and then were off to spend the night in some of their homes. It will be a quick sleep - we need to be at the border crossing at 5:00am to get to Hong Kong for our flight to Beijing.
This last day in Southern China is often bittersweet as we have to say goodbye to some wonderful support people. We once again had awesome bus drivers, a great young man - AuGin who has been our bike mechanic for the past 7 years and then our fabulous translators Pastor Peter, Hosanna, Hannah, Pecky and Funny. We develop bonds with them all so quickly which means hard goodbyes. On a praise note - Pastor Peter is getting married in a few weeks and will be moving to Canada as soon as all his paperwork is completed. Please keep Peter and Tiffany in your prayers as they plan their wedding celebrations and prepare for their life together.
