A VENTURE of FAITH & DISCOVERY

Welcome to our adventure as we share our journey through words and pictures, while we travel through Southern China & Beijing. We'll be biking through villages and experiencing rural life & culture, worshiping with Chinese Christians, hiking the Great Wall, touring the Forbidden City and Tiananmen Square, participating in service projects, and so much more.

Please be encouraged to scroll through the posts and pictures to discover what the team is experiencing. Want to know what the team may be up to on a given date? Danielle's Reflection

Today was our last day of biking. It was a long bike ride uphill and downhill. Then we  visited a school. All the kids  were very excited. I went up to a little boy and he was very shy. He got up and stood in the door way so I stood up and went in the other door. He would move his little head into and out of the classroom. I would copy him. I finally got a smile out of him. Then 10 other kids , including the little bog started playing peek-a-boo. That later turned into tag. They were running away from me. They ran into the bathroom, climbed & out of windows and ran upstairs.  This was definitely an eye opening experience. Even though the little boy never said a word he laughed and giggled till no end. It was heart warming to have made a little boy smile so big. This experience with this little boy will never be forgotten.

  1. What fun you brought into that child's day! Laughter and play doesn't need words! He'll never forget you. :)
